10th annual finalists

1. Bobby Baker
2. Steve Thomas
3. Justin Hugron
4. Danny Nichols
5. Scotty Myer
6. Scotty Stopnik

2008 Finalists

The waves decided to come in for the day starting out a little windy but calmed down for some great peaks in the afternoon. Some standout retro board riders were Linden Cabellon, Jay Larson, Pat Rydell, Chris Scarfe, Brian Ruddy, Nick Kennedy, Adam Newsom, Aaron Peterson, Mark Belmonte and Jason Warren. One interesting surfboard was the warped Randy Lewis fish that worked really well, the David Nuuhiwa fish and the Patrillo super pintail single fin were winners as well. It is great to see the myriad of shapes.

Thanks to Hurley International, Lost Clothing, Katin, ZJ's, Bruce Jones, Freestyle, Scott sandals, Madrid, Tsunamis, Harry's Grill, Dwindle, RE/Max, Fosters/Meridian, Sabre, Ocean and Earth, Tim Stamps Surfboards, Tony Alvarado's surfboard collection, and organizer Benny Bigler.
